The Cavaliers defeated John McDonogh last night in the John J. Altobello Sports Complex by a score of 61-32. The win improves their record to 12-8 overall, 3-3 in District 10-3A. The Cavaliers offensive attack was led by Luke Kelly, who poured in 19 points, including 9 of 12 foul shots; and Anthnoy Thomas, who scored 10 points and led the team in assists. Stephen Kelly and Danshawn Jenkins each added eight points. The stout defensive effort was spearheaded by Luke Kelly who took four charges and Geordy Schexnayder who relentlessly dove for loose balls.
The Cavaliers return to action on Friday at Sarah Reed. The game is scheduled to begin at approximately 7:30 PM, after the girls game, which tips off at 6:00 PM.
