Class of 2006
20th Reunion
20 YEARS LATER: THE BOND REMAINS.
The Class of 2006 returned home to celebrate their 20th Reunion, and it was more than just a party—it was a homecoming for a class like no other.
As the "Katrina Class," these Cavaliers share a history that is truly unique. Their last time all together was at their Ring Mass, just days before the mandatory evacuation of New Orleans.
While the storm scattered them across the country, their connection to each other and to De La Salle never broke. DLS was the first high school to open its doors after the storm, serving as a beacon of hope and welcoming students from all over the city.
From the halls of campus to an evening at the alum-owned Tchoup Yard, it was a weekend of laughter, memories, and resilience.
No matter where life takes them, they will always have a home at 5300 St. Charles Avenue.
